Advocates Of Prayer
“Is There Not A Cause?”
I Samuel 17: 29 King David speaks these immeasurable words of faith for Jehovah’s Israel. Today we should be asking the same question, Is there not a cause for America anymore? Not so shockingly anymore Americans have left their first true Love and have begun to look to themselves as the author of their wealth and good fortune, while our schools systematically take out the reverence and knowledge for the One who gave it to them. According to the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human services, girls (mere children) have over 1,000 abortions a day while some 4,000 teens every day are contracting sexually transmitted diseases. And some 2,000 others are committing suicide each year while Americans are seeking their own fortunes through a credit based system resulting in nothing but divorce laced, crushed, meaningless lives of an endless cycle. What happened? We’ve lost our heritage and we’ve lost our purpose. On March 23, 1775 Patrick Henry declared, “ Give me Liberty or Give me Death!” We find in George Washington’s personal diaries written prayers of such honor and passion to the Founder and Creator of this nation and the world, yet none will ever remember. It is satan’s desire to erase God from America and destroy it... by erasing our history. Karl Marx is quoted as saying “ If I can steal their history I can steal their country “. Americas’ purpose has always been to be a light to the world to display and send God’s Light and the message of His Christ.
Sadly there are many ‘ politicians’ who are in support of this disintegration and would like to see God taken wholly out of government as well as every other institution. Perhaps they have forgotten it is the people that have the greater voice? Listed in the original document on this page is a sermon spoken to the congress in Washington D.C. Imagine a minister delivering a sermon there today). In this sermon he spoke of the matter of the Government support of the church (as the bible says in Isaiah 43). The church was never to be separate from the state, but Divine Order was to rule over the government. We have sat by while prayer was taken from our schools, key religious foundations were ruled ‘offensive’ and bills are being passed so fast to take away our precious freedom so many fought and died to obtain it’s startling. Yet America refuses to get involved.
A Kingdom Divided cannot stand
“When momma’s not happy, nobody’s happy” Ever hear this popular phrase? Indeed and for the most part it is true and it just backs up what we already know to be true, that a kingdom divided against itself cannot nor will not stand. Unity in some measure must be reached in order for a party to carry out successfully their “cause”. For whatever reasons the church has been the only great force on this earth that has refused to drop their differences and unite for the good of this nation or even our own families or children. Imagine if the church would come together as the force it is WITH the power of God and lifted our voices in the darkness. But that has been the greatest strategy against the church is to divide it. Ever notice how some parties that seemingly under normal circumstances would never be joined together but at election time and crisis times come together and make historical change, whether for good or bad? How many know that rat poison is 99% yummy and 1% deadly? We cannot any longer try to embrace different cultures and terrorists in an effort to ‘peacefully get along’ because they are out to steal your very foundation of existence to erase your heritage and history. You may label me an extremist but this is an extreme world. The very first Muslim has been elected to Congress, nothing against the man but Muslim beliefs as a whole completely altogether go against what this nation was founded on, yet he will be deciding what is ratified into your laws and amendments. Look at these statistics open to public record, not my opinion, concerning the election of 2000:

Gore – 580,000 sq. miles
Bush – 2,427,000 sq. miles

· Murder rate per 100 thousand residents in those counties
Gore – 13.2%
Bush – 2.1%
Notice a pattern here? Less than half the counties voted for one of these candidates, yet the murder rate represented by these was more than tripled! The plain truth of the matter is that these people saw in this candidate the opportunity that he would stand up for their way of living. People of a certain persuasion will always partner together to see their way of life protected, whether good or bad. In other words those for abortions (which is still an unconstitutional act) will partner with those who run drugs trying to sell them to your kids and the mafia destroying lives with gambling and prostitution, etc… and only 50 % of the Christian population voted that year. I’m not writing this to depress or tick anybody off, but so many times we are so quick to de-fuse the topic by some cliché and change the subject. In fact in the next election of 2004 there was a woman that was quoted as saying in quite a disgruntled interview that “ If it weren’t for the xxxx Christians and farmers and woman voting her candidate would’ve won”. Thankfully change is on the horizon, but it has to be kicked to overdrive. We must rise up.
Rise Up
If these facts and figures have bothered you enough to do something about it, then it’s time to rise up! If it hasn’t, then don’t worry all that you have will soon be taken away anyway. But for those who have been moved you might say, “What can I do?” Or “ How can one person change the course of a nation?” Well ask one normal, ordinary guy like David soon to be king. We all have the obligation to revive and renew the cause of this nation. What about the cause of Jesus, one man tempted in all ways an overcomer and history maker. We must remember that one man was destined to fill a void in this earth and was given the responsibility of a voice.
1. Be Informed! Subscribe to newsletters as these and web sites associated with this cause. Don’t just listen to the news media! Believe it or not they are extremely biased. They only report what they choose to.
2. NEVER Vote Unprepared again! Look up every candidate on the Internet or their campaign hdqrts. Find out the candidates REAL voting history, Republican or Democrat doesn’t matter anymore.
3. Pray… The word of God tells us to pray for those in authority over our nation AND all others (Don’t like the world as it is? CHANGE IT through prayer and prayer groups.
4. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE …We have an obligation to vote. It is our seed sown into this nation as a voice. YES one vote counts; so many elections have been decided by one vote! You matter! Watch the people supporting the candidates this will always tell you what that person stands for regardless of what the person or party says.

Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. The war is inevitable- and let it come! I repeat, sir, let it come. It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry “ Peace, peace”- but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take but as for me, give me liberty or give me death.
